Training W/C 22nd October 2012

Was looking like a decent week until I managed to go over on my ankle pretty badly!
Monday: 33 easy AM; 57 steady (~7:10) PM
Tuesday: 32 easy AM; PM 56 steady (~7:03mm)
Wednesday: rest
Thursday: started run and went over badly on ankle.
Friday: rest
Saturday: rest
Sunday: 21 minutes of 5 minutes jogging, 1 minute walking

Pretty horrendous week of training though for once it's not an overuse injury - hooray!

Headed out for a run on Thursday and stepped on what liked like a small easily snappable branch.
Turned out it was absolutely solid and my ankle turned more than 90 degrees in leaving me in agony (initially thought it was broken).

The ankle swelled up and became increasingly sore over the next 48 hours. The Sunday run was actually okay but it felt worse the next day so I'm still being very cautious. Taking it as an end-of-season break with a week off and then a week of light jogging.
